Every week we get our paycheck stubs emailed to us on Wednesdays. I had noticed mine said I made $800+ over than what my check is supposed to be. I thought it was just a glitch in the email. Come today I get my pay through direct deposit & I am infact overpaid.
I go tell the owner, and he starts bitching at me that I should've told him Wednesday, someone else's pay could be short. Blah, blah, blah. I told him I thought the email was wrong. He stormed away saying with an attitude he has to notify the lady who does payroll.
I told my store manager & she said I should've never said anything, bcz when her brother worked with us he was overpaid once, said nothing, and no one ever noticed.
I'm so glad I was honest just to get bitched at. SMFH!! At least a fkng thank you would've been nice!!
