My partner just got a bitchy “anonymous” message from what can only be our boss. Lots of lovely talk about how they'd been watching us closely the last few weeks and we don't work hard enough, but also lots of “I know your bosses and I am going to talk to them about this” and “don't try to work out who I am, I don't answer the phone for numbers I don't know”. Just a two page bitch of a text. For context, my partner and I work part time in a trailer park so theoretically this could have come from any of the residents. The problem is that it was sent to my partner's personal phone rather than our work number and the only people in the park that have that are our two bosses. I have no idea what the hell their justification is for it either. To our faces they've been saying “it's winter, there's less to do around here so just work on what maintenance stuff you can with the weather” and neither have talked to us about being unhappy with our work. The previous guy who did our job still lives in the park but refuses to have anything to do with our bosses and most of the other residents and I'm starting to get an inkling of why. Our accommodation is provided by our work which makes quitting a little complicated but god damn does this unprofessional bullshit make me want to work on an exit plan.
