This stupid fucking boomer stood in the middle of the fruit aisle in a crowded grocery store talking on his cell to his friend about how the student loan forgiveness will drive inflation even higher. He said, “when I was a college kid, I only had to take out one student loan for 5k and was able to pay it back easily.”
He kept bringing up the Wymar Republic and saying shit that made no sense and was not at all analogous to our current situation.
I wish I had confronted him now, and I will next time. If you are going to a crowded grocery store and start spouting your political beliefs, it's fair game.
I rarely hear millenial or gen x/z people talking that loudly in public about politics. The boomers really are entitled.
