So it’s the end of my shift and everything is good. I’m waiting an hour and get a call from my coworker saying she’ll be late so I stay after and watch the patients. She’s late by 5 hours
She gets here and I leave the door. That’s that.
Next day I’m getting multiple calls from my boss and when I answer she’s yelling at me at how I put the patients in danger
Rewind. Apparently after my shift, the coworker put the patients in HER car and took them to HER house and supposedly over slept so the person that came for their next shift came into an empty house so they call saying all the patients are gone and that they saw me at the house last
Worst thing is my boss’s boss came over for a check up and saw me this morning too so they think I stayed the entire shift and I’m responsible. I tried explaining I had no damn part and was covering and they’re putting me on fucking punishment and telling me I made a big issue
I’m terrified this fucked me up. I did nothing. I couldn’t leave the patients by themselves. What do I do now
I explained my side yet I’m still the one in blame
