Boss didn’t change my rate of pay, should I tell them?

My boss placed me on a two week LOA because I have having some persistent medical issues, and was getting reestablished after being displaced due to an electrical fire. I chose this job and he took an additional week to even get me started. I did not know “find a place for you” meant a new contract and potential pay cut. I thought I'd go back to where I was previously, just potentially a different position at the same location. My wage was not changed in the system, however, and my last two checks have been at $17/hr, which was my original wage. So what do y’all think? If I don’t mention is there potential for employer to say they overpaid?
