Because I’ve used too much time…. I have vacation time still. The time I was out? A week for Covid as required by our company…..after she made me come in one day anyway because of a negative home test even though I told her I was sure it was Covid.
The day I asked for is the first day of a week where there are no appointments because of a conference our big boss is at.
She relented when my coworker told her why I asked for the day off (bff had baby) but I have to make sure all my work is done ahead of time.
I feel like it’s none of her business why I’m taking off and as long as I have time and am not needed specifically I should be allowed off.
