Soooo found out our roommate is positive, so obviously I'm exposed, and lol this is what our conversation looks like currently between my boss and I. And to add, I'm pretty iffy to expose others, because my Dad passed from Covid in Dec. 2020 and he got exposed by someone else, so.. I take it very serious since then.
Me: Hi, sorry this is a little late. The friend I'm living with got her results about 10 minutes ago for a covid test, and it came back positive. I'm trying to see if I can find any testing for tomorrow, but I'm exposed. I wanted to approach you on this to see what we can do, because I have to open tomorrow.
Boss: It's okay, (my name here). We are all exposed at this point. Early on we were much more cautious w exposures, but we now realize we have to live with this. If we operated based upon exposures, we wldnt have any employees As long as u aren't feeling I'll or testing positive, we are okay with u coming in. I can bring a home kit to u if u want to test over the next cpl days
I think because everyone's bound to be exposed, that everyone is relaxed a bit, but I'm still not comfortable going in. What would y'all say in this position, because I just woke up to this, and I'm pissed?
