Just got called into the backroom at work (men's wearhouse) so my boss could tell me”You are at $14 now but I can't have you asking others what they make because it makes a tense environment. Especially for an 18yo with this as his first job”
I DO NOT CARE. That sounds like a him problem. I'm gonna ask because I'm not going to be making less then the new guy. I don't give a damn that it's his first job. Wages should be a thing that is talked about. I hate this place.
Isn't it illegal to ask people not to discuss wages?
