Title explains all, the office was closed for a few days because our boss has COVID and I asked my coworker if we had to come in today. They said they were going, and I wished him luck and to stay safe, as our boss is COVID positive and I was likely staying home. Apparently this coworker didn’t know, and asked our boss if he was required to go in-person still. My boss flipped out and proceeded to fire me for stepping out of line and telling other people about his business that does not concern me.
