I hit my 1 year anniversary at my job in November. Started asking about reviews about 2 weeks prior. Asked every week after that. Finally got my review late January. Boss refused to give back pay to apply the raise to the 2 months I should have been paid my new rate. Unfortunately this job is the best paying in my field in the area, so, when should I start asking for my 2 year review this year?
Will confirmation through text be enough evidence if they wait another 2 months again and I want to take this to the department of labor? Do I even have a case? He said reviews aren't guaranteed and that they shouldn't be expected, and apparently by law he is correct. I feel like I should be entitled to timely reviews when told that I would get them
