Would love some feedback on this…
I assigned a task to someone I work with often and innocently assigned it late. This person complained to her boss, who took it to my boss. From there, my boss called up others I manage and asked for dirt on working with me (at least that’s how I understand what happened after being talked to by my boss). I didn’t get a straightforward answer on what the others said other than an overall “disconnect.”
I would like to address it directly with them now…any advice?
Also: does this not seem like a toxic workplace?
