We’ve been mostly remote but occasionally must come into the office. Last Thursday was such a day and later that night I saw an email about a covid exposure in the office but I guess they couldn’t tell us who. The next day I found out it was one of my bosses. Despite having minimal contact I came down with covid a 3 days later. The part that pisses me off is he knew he was sick! He felt rundown but didn’t tell anyone but did a rapid test when he got home. Then the narcissistic ahole – today dared send an email he was behind on some things bc he wasn’t feeling well. To which I responded letting him know since I was exposed to him on Thursday I tested positive over the holiday weekend and I was struggling bc covid or any sickness sucks. He just wrote back feel better – no I’m sorry I came on sick and got you sick – no concern or care for anyone else. I was still expected to keep my work up today though. What an egotistical dips*** I’m so livid that someone could have such disregard for others and I feel bad for those I may have in turn inadvertently infected bc he was sick came in anyway and didn’t tell anyone.
