I'm working in this company for almost 5 years. I helped the company grow even with my boss not helping with the process, he does not care about hiring good people, he does not trust the employees, we deliver an absurd amount of work and he still blames the entire office for being on the phones and being late, even if you left late the day before. Does not have any control of the deliverables and keeps asking for more and more without considering the time that the tasks required. Also, he never appreciates people. I'm one of the best employees that he has, I created procedures, add great things to make the projects go faster etc… But now he is saying behind my back that I did not do anything in a specific project, that I spent hours making it look nice. He is saying that I spend hours on the phone, I do listen to podcasts and use my phone sometimes, but nothing much. I still delivering a crazy amount of good work. I'm leaving for all of these reasons. I'm wondering if I should say something to him, or just pretend that I do not know what he is saying about me.
