Hi I’ve been a part of this subreddit for a while and currently am needing help right now. I’m a university student and work part time at the fast food chain Sonic. It’s good pay because it’s minimum wage plus tips so I can end up making pretty good money. These past weeks I’ve been working a lot more with classes over and yesterday was one of the busiest days in a while. Well I guess it caught up to my body because I accidentally fell asleep and was late by an hour. Unfortunately for me it wasn’t my manager who I work with all the time and who I get along with well, it was the actual boss who hates me because I’m female and also because whenever he was rude to me I sold my ground so he would try to be rude to me whenever he could. He picked up and chastised me in a really stupid way.( he was telling me I should’ve called the store instead of messaging the manager which I was exactly doing at that moment) But he told me that if I was so tired to just take off the rest of the week. I literally work in the second most busy sonic in the U.S and yesterday was extremely busy as well someone calling in so we were a person short.
So now I’m not sure I have much of a choice but to look somewhere else and honestly feel extremely slighted because ALL of the people I actually work with like me and know how busy it has been.
Anyways I guess I need any advice or maybe I just wanted to rant, I hate it here 😐
