Boss lowered my wage without notice after leading the team in revenue this past month

I work at minimum wage + 10% retail commission. About 6 months ago I was turned down for a raise but starting October 1st, the state changed its minimum from $10.10 to $12 so my boss was reluctantly forced to give me a raise too. Fast forward to my most recent paycheck and my hourly is back down to $10.10 with no notice! I contact my GM, he seems surprised and talks with the owner who says they did it on purpose because since I earn commission I can be paid under the minimum. I brought in $32k of revalue last month ($11k more than the next person) but the asshole owner would rather flex his muscles than pay me another $180 per month. Apparently it’s legal to lower wages (although must be given notification, which didn’t happen). So now begins the petty process of sabotaging the business from within…
