I’ve been working from home for a while, sometimes 3/4 days back to back because i work from 11PM to 7AM (the next day) so it’s basically impossible to work from office because it’s closed.
Days went by and i’ve been working from home only because i’ve only been working through the night. Fast forward today i get a message saying i’ll have to come to office today because it isn’t allowed for a person to work only from home. I asked why if i’ve been doing it for a while now, take note that i work at home 4 days in a row because those are the shifts that she gives me. Her answer was because i already work 2 days from home and the third has to be in office, it’s a rule.
I asked why is it now a rule but when you planned me in for 4 days in a row and i had to work all of them from home it wasn’t? She said that i’m not getting what she’s saying and that i’d just have to come to office today. Completely ignored the whole point of what i said and continued but ok.
That’s another issue, i’ve asked her to switch my shift on saturday for a whole week because i can’t work that day. She told me to ask my colleagues because she is already down on staff that day. I switched the shift and when i told her i did an hour before the shift i got a whole paragraph saying that i always have to ask if i can switch shifts and that she’s been monitoring my calls and she can hear my child in the background when i work from home and in conclusion if she tells me to come to office i just have to come, don’t ask why.
Basically a whole paragraph about irrelevant stuff to which i told her right away that’s unprofessional.
I just got online and noticed she sent a paragraph in the work group chat also.
Since i started working here 6 employees left in a span of 3 months. She even takes it as far as argueing with employees in the work group chat and calling people out randomly.
