Coworker/friend of mine needs to take a leave of absence to get her psych meds regulated. Having a very hard time. Boss/managers know this already.
Emailed a professional leave of absence notice. Both a boss and manager call her one after the other begging her to stay bc they are short staffed saying “it can’t be that bad, you look fine to me” I am paraphrasing here, but that’s the gist of it.
I am so sick of mental health not being taken seriously. It’s demeaning, and causes more mental stress to the people who are actually trying to take care of themselves.
