I've never worked for a boss like this before I started working here. He literally hoards the toilet paper upstairs and there's like 15 of us downstairs that share a bathroom and everytime we need toilet paper we have to go upstairs and ask him for it. He only gives us 2 rolls at a time. Then gets pissy when we have to ask him for it all the time. He apparently thinks people will steal the toilet paper which is ridiculous.
That isn't the only thing though. When we ask for general office supplies for our office he will give us like ten paperclips or 1 stack of staples instead of giving us a box when he has tons for himself. He also keeps the copy paper in his office so we have to go upstairs and ask for paper when we need it which is often.
He calls me like all day to see what I'm doing and will make up stuff for me to do for him that isn't necessary.
I think he enjoys the power of having control of these things?? I don't know but it's really getting on my nerves.
Edit: Im in the US by the way.
He makes my life miserable everyday but it's my first office job and the most money I've ever made(only 18 dollars an hour but still) I've always had crappy jobs but never a boss like this.
