So this is happing now as I type, so excuse the Grammer and runoff sentences. I am doing this on my phone.
Long story short I took last week off by calling in 2 days and taking 3 days vacation. In the employee handbook I have a 24 hour notice to schedule vacation and no notice to call in sick. For reference I have 160 hours of vacation and 40 hours of sick time in a year. Anyway I heard he was telling everyone in my department except for me in a meeting to not take as much time off as me. So I thought if he wanted to play petty I would as well. I just asked for Wednesday thru Friday off and my direct supervisor who works under him approved it. Tomorrow morning I have a meeting with him and my direct supervisor who just approved it about how I have taking too much time off.
What's my play? I am looking for a new job anyway and I already have 3 interviews scheduled this week so I can care less. I just want to really make this guy squirm.
So I have been on this sub for a while and just want to thank all of you for giving me the courage to stand up to a “boss” I thought it was going to be terrible and stressful but its actually invigorating and kind of fun.
