i (used to) work at a pizza place that hired me on the spot and i was so happy until i realized how many rules they had that they didn’t tell me about, no phones, no food until break, no watches, no nails, no long hair, and no calling in sick. i had a feeling i was going to quit but the final straw was when my boss started deliberately throwing away the pizzas i made that i was going to take home which employees could make for free. she was acting an ass about it when i asked her but it was so obvious. that night i quit over text and sent her the resignation letter. since then she never texted me back 🤷️. good riddance ig.
