Boss said no to promote me to a part time job saying I didn’t have enough experience, I’ve been with them for 3 years

So I’m a causal at my job, I’ve been a casual for the last 3 year because of school. But I finished it in October of last year and have basically been working 25 hour weeks since then. So I’m moving out of my parents house in the next 2 months, and since I’m still a causal I needed some sick leave to have ready, so if I get sick I’ll still be able to pay my rent. So I go to my boss and I asked for a part time job, and she straight up said “no” and I asked why and she said because I DIDN’T HAVE ENOUGH EXPERIENCE APPARENTLY. Even though I would of been doing the same amount of work and nothing would of change from the type of work. And I told her that I was planning to move out so I need sick leave…

And I told her that I was planning to move out so I need sick leave available to me so I can still pay rent, and could she reconsider and she said that I don’t have enough experience and She can’t be bothered to teach me, and everyone that is could teach me is leaving (3 people have left in the last 2 months btw)

I WORK HERE FOR 3 YEARS AND IT BASICALLY MEANS NOTHING. If I knew that 3 years of working at this company would mean I got no experience to be promoted to a part time at the same job I wouldn’t of took it
Thanks for coming to my rant
