I’m a high school student, just got my license, and just got my new car 23 days ago. I’ve never driven on ice or snow. My state is in the middle of a winter storm and it’s pretty bad outside. My job has a point system and sick days are not excused. I don’t think horrible weather days are either. Nonetheless, I’ve racked up many points. The limit is 10 days you can miss in one year. I also have ADHD, so that is not the most practical situation for me because I make many mistakes, and sometimes forget to schedule off. Or my boss doesn’t listen to my availability and I have to call in. I tried to quit but she suggested I work until the end of January which is fine because I have a phone bill to pay. I just don’t know what to do about the situation. She seems understanding but I know realistically if I drive in this weather and fuck up, my insurance will skyrocket. This all seems a bit sketchy and confusing..🤔
