so this is a RANT
So im 19 and a student taking 6 summer courses to get a little ahead. Anyways i work retail and my job puts the schedule two weeks in advance, i only work thur-sun so im never there when the schedule is posted on the wall on mondays/tuesdays so i ALWAYS just look at the online one to plan the next week accordingly in terms of doing work/studying . Anyways this whole time i thought i was only working Friday and Saturday this week…until my boss texted me yesterday asking if i was coming in tomorrow (aka today) and i was confused and said i wasnt on the schedule, he said “ok then” i took a screenshot of the schedule along with the date and time cuz i had a bad feeling. I logged into the online schedule today and SURPRISE!!! he added today………… it wouldnt have even been a problem except i planned this day to finish my 8 page research paper (i started it yesterday, but had to stop because my brother graduted highschool) and study for my finals because i was going to be working closing ahifts friday and saturday, and sunday is for packing because im going on vacation on tuesday the 28th so i have no time…im waiting till he calls and asks where i am cuz im simply not gonna budge. I hate that place and honestly i have been looking for an excuse to quit for the awhile even though i only started in february… it’s also a long shift which means i’d come home at 10 exhausted and only have until 11:59 to turn in my research paper …. school will come first before a shit job that i hate
but lets see i guess……..
