Boss texting me from emergency room to come in

I was recently in the emergency due to a series of severe asthma attacks and a viral infection. My doctor said I need to take it very easy because I barely stand for longer than five minutes without sitting down to catch my breath. I have constant pain and the doctor said not to come into work for two weeks since my job is standing for 8 hours nonstop (except for one 20 minute break) and moving heavy objects. However that didn't stop my boss from texting me from the emergency room and asking when I can come in. The texts started from the first night I was in the ER and they were running tests.

I know how bad my boss is so I started texting her and updating her immediately about the situation because she often looks for an excuse to fire people for not showing up, even when it has been excused or worked out with other managers, people picking up the shift, etc. I saw her write up someone for not being able to come in one day because their 4 year old child's funeral was moved to that day. So now you get a sense of how bad she is, you get why I immediately was updating her.

With my prior health issues the doctors immediately were making sure it wasn't Covid on top of it and my boss immediately texted me back after I told her they were testing me for it, “Well [company name] doesn't cover time off for Covid anymore so you need to find someone to take your shift or else you're still expected to come in.” Which is 100% false because the other managers all said it is still covered. I have since stopped contact with her at all and instead have been updating the other managers about my health situation. According to my doctor's note, I am not supposed to be back for another week at least still (can possibly be extended based off how effective of my new medication) but that hasn't stopped her from asking me to come in nearly daily and switching all my shifts after when I come back from 8 to 10 hours to make up for my days off when I was told to take it easy when I get back.

TL;DR. My boss is the devil and won't listen to my doctor.
