For context, last weekend I had to take an abrupt day off due to a family member being in the hospital and things aren't looking super good at the moment along with that I don't drive so I was at the mercy of another family member driving themselves and I a couple states away, ended up missing another days work because said family member took their sweet ass time getting back. fast forward to three days later and my district manager is at my place of work (he's rarely ever here to begin with) he pulled me to the side and straight up told me “quite frankly I don't care about your personal issues, your place is at work and you told us when we hired you, you would have reliable transportation”
Mostly just venting here but I've NEVER had an employer say something so callous to me before.

Edit* I don't drive and my main mode of transportation is local busses thus why I needed a ride.
