So I have been working for my company for 8 years and have got like a small raise each year
This year for some reason, people started reaching out on LinkedIn with interviews for jobs paying easily 2.5x my current salary.
I applied for like 2 of them and in the meantime I got a performance review.
I mentioned that I was offered jobs of such a calibre. They instantly shut down the interview.
Like 2 weeks later I told them I was further in the interview process and couldn’t turn it down so they matched it.
Years of reasons why I couldn’t be promoted and as soon as I leave they find it.
