Boss took away the only WI-FI in our remote work environment

When I showed up to work Thursday I discovered that my work has changed the Wi-Fi and is now refusing to give the employees the password. Stating that we “over used” the Wi-Fi, and so now we can only access the internet on the computer. I live and work in a state park. Its pretty remote forest that's about an hour away from a town. Its so remote that we work in the state park, and there is so much canopy cover that we can't get satellite Wi-Fi in our rooms. So for the past two years that I've been here, its been acceptable to leave our housing to go down to the visitor center and use the Wi-Fi.

So for them to kick myself and rest of the staff that live out here off the WI-FI just feels unacceptable. yes, I'm sure we use it a lot, but its also there in case of emergency. Now that none of us have access to the WI-FI we can't get any cellphone signal. So now none of us can keep in contact with our family, unless we go inside and use the one landline phone to call people. An our families don't know that they can't get into contact with us until we find the time to leave the park and let them know of this sudden change in policy.

I'm wondering if people have any advice for what I should say in my email to my boss. I'm hoping to convince them that this is a bad idea, as in the past people have seen how we have had to go to the visitor center for WI-FI, and determined that was too restrictive! Now I've put up with it for 3 years, and I'm ready to put in my two weeks notice over this.
