Hey all, my husband left his job because he’s gotten a better one. His ex-boss text him this morning saying that there were two extension cords missing from his work van after he turned it in, and asked if he wanted to return them or have his pay docked $220 (he claims the cords are $109 each.) My husband says the cords were never in the van to begin with, and he had to provide his own. He is absolutely positive this is the case, but his ex-boss refuses to listen and is insisting that he is going to dock his paycheck. Is there anything we can do?
