Not going to get too specific, but according to my company, sick time doesn’t kick in until exactly 6 months after your start date. Coincidentally, that day is tomorrow. I started 3/26 and tomorrow will mark 6 months
Anyway, if I call out sick one more time, I get written up. The only times I’ve called out were during a two week stretch where every single one of my coworkers were convinced I had Covid as I was super sick. Managed to come in some of those days but even customers were skeptical and I would have been better off staying home. But since I didn’t have sick time accrued yet, those counted against me as occurrences
Anyway, just recently I’ve been diagnosed with two conditions. I found out while at work and brought them up to my manager, who didn’t even bother to feel sorry for me and instead says “I wish I had your conditions so I can be skinny just like you.” I told her I didn’t think I was that skinny, I’m 175 lbs, and this is something that’s a big insecurity for me as I used to only be 125. She tells me “No, you’re like really skinny.” I just shook my head and left
The next day, my conditions got a lot worse. I barely made it through my shift. I told her I need to take off Saturday (9/24) to go see the doctor. My shift was from open to close, and on Saturday’s that’s from 8:30 to 12:15. Problem is the doctor’s office was open from 8-12 and I would be booking with short notice so they didn’t know when they could fit me in, but promised I would get a chance to see the doc. Manager told me I would be written up and given a warning if I called out to see the doc because my sick time still didn’t kick in.
Few hours after my shifted had ended, I ended up in the back of an ambulance. Not going to get into specific’s but it wasn’t good and I’m still recovering.
What can I do to get her fired and screw the company over?
I am deleting this soon once I get solid advice. Need immediate help. I work tomorrow bright and early
