I’m working in an office doing odd jobs and my boss has determined- You need to smile more!
Even though my work is good apparently they’re upset I don’t look “happy enough”
I said how can you even tell if I’m smiling when you have a mask mandate in place that I’ve been adhering to, to a tee. I’ve been wearing a mask 100% of the time except to eat and drink.
She gets more adamant and doubles down insisting I must agree to and accept the assessment. Tells me- Well we can tell if your eyes are crinkled and your cheeks are raised under the mask- like now.
I was laughing at how ludicrous a convo it was to even be having
Not smiling enough- under my mask. Can you believe it??! This is why people don’t want to come back.
