Boss wants me to do more work for free – what do I do?

Hi all, I (mid 20´s) work in a big corporation but my core team consists of 6 people. A few months ago, a colleague applied to go for 6 months to one of our offices abroad to get more international experience. Our boss was supposed to hire a temp cover for the colleague's position, but being a typical incompetent manager he didn't even start the hiring process. Now, the colleague is about to leave and our boss approached me yesterday and said that he would take on a part of the colleague's daily tasks, but expects me to help out too. I said that we can discuss this topic next week. Now, for context, my daily tasks usually take about 2-3 hours to do and the rest of the time I spend doing other things at home or hobbies (it's mostly remote and of course the boss doesn't know this).…

Hi all,

I (mid 20´s) work in a big corporation but my core team consists of 6 people.

Now, for context, my daily tasks usually take about 2-3 hours to do and the rest of the time I spend doing other things at home or hobbies (it's mostly remote and of course the boss doesn't know this). I can easily replace this colleague temporarily but I don't wanna do anything extra for free.

I need advice from fellow antiworkers – How do I go about this in the meeting next week? Should I ask for a raise or a one-off bonus?

Info: I'm not in the US, but in Western Europe, and I work full-time.
