So I am going to my boss to see if they can match the salary of another company who offered me a job. He is asking for proof, but I’m not sure how to feel about exposing what company it is or any specific details about the offer. Is this a reasonable thing to ask? I’m totally fine with leaving my current position, in fact the new one has much better benefits. The issue is I respect him and have enjoyed my time here but don’t know where the line needs to be drawn in this instance.
