I work as a chef at a restaurant that’s only recently opened . It’s not been overly busy but it’s in a sea side resort that hasn’t really started being busy yet .
This morning one of the couple who own the venue came in and told me and the general manager that we need to hype up the other owner as she’s feeling down about the place.
I feel it’s ridiculous . I have less than social working hours am being underpaid for the area and position ( which I took as I’ve only just moved here and need a job immediately)
I just feel it’s crazy to ask us to cheer lead the owner.
