We have our annual self evaluations coming up. We evaluate ourselves, we speak with our managers and then the CEO as a recap for the year. If we play the game then we get our annual bonus. I think it’s bullshit and I don’t care about bonuses. Pay us more money.
In our meeting this morning, my boss was like “you should let yourselves shine and let them know how great you are.” I interpreted as “I should suck up to these people and prove myself so they can give me more money.” It’s almost laughable and my boss noticed I rolled my eyes when she said that. lol
I don’t care about bonuses, it’s just a cop out from not paying me more money and I’m not playing their game. What would you in this situation?
