I work at a small business, there is not set pto or anything, I had taken the week off work last week due to being sick and puking. My son was also sick, I managed to make myself get to work Friday and Monday, but today I am puking again and my son is even more sick than before.
I let my boss know I wasn’t coming in to which he replied. “Again, drink Gatorade take some pills and get to work”
I need to take my son to the pedi and I am puking myself. How do I respond without losing my job? My anger and annoyance with him from past experiences with this added makes me want to respond passive aggressively which I understand isn’t the best idea if I want to keep the job either.
