Really good friend of mine can do it all, electrics, plumbing, brickwork, etc, naturally gifted and has his certificates. A few years ago, he had a job working as a handyman on 20k a year, never took a day off sick in five years. Never let them down and saved them a fortune. Asked for a pay rise to bring him up to 25k a year…….Told no. Got a better job elsewhere . Previous company had to hire 3 new handymen to replace him, each on 25k a year.
