He’s graduating college and immediately after we’re heading out of town to celebrate. He already put in that he wouldn’t be available this weekend. His job (food service) has recently lost a lot of workers and texted him that he had to come in immediately due to being a “holiday weekend.” They expect him to skip his own graduation and trip to come in and serve people for six hours.
He was already planning to quit, this might just expedite things a little bit.
Edit because I forgot to mention: he already has another job lined up so it doesn’t really matter. I’m just appalled at this.
