Does anyone know where I can go to try to fix a stores break policy? A girl from another store in our franchise told me today that they're only allowed one 15 minute break for an 8 hour shift (used to be 10 min break). She said she went to HR before about it because our break policy in our handbook clearly states that employees are allowed 1 15 minute break for every 4 hours worked, but suprise, nothing happened. We're in Wisconsin and I know that breaks aren't mandatory for employers to give out, but is it something we can argue against since it's clearly in our employee handbook?
