While on the topic of discussing salary being legal/illegal, another topic is breaks. For adults, there is no federal law requiring breaks of any kind. States are different but in my state of Utah, there are no laws for breaks. Companies do it out of the goodness of their hearts, I suppose. Most employees and bosses have no idea, as they assume company policy is the law. That said, let’s not give them any ideas.
