I've been working at this warehouse for two years! Two weeks ago I went to work on crutches and with all my doctor's notes. My doctor said I shouldn't be working for at least a month. My boss was immediately disappointed and I could tell he wasn't going to be nice about anything. At first he told me to sit down and he'll get someone to come talk to me. I sat there for about 10 minutes and some lady from HR, who I have never seen gave me instructions to go see the company doctor. I was pretty fed up with it but I ended up going to see them anyways. Their doctor said I could be back on my feet and working within two weeks. Well those two weeks pass and I could hardly even walk without crutches still. Anyway I went to work and went straight to my boss and told him I couldn't work. He just told me to go home and call HR. So I called them and they told me that I had to forfeit my job or be terminated. After two years of work, six day work weeks and 100s of hours I've put into that job. I was pretty mad and just hung up. So now I have no job and one working leg. I also know multiple people who have been gone for over a month and they were able to come back with no problems. With on of those people dealing with a broke arm. I'm so fed up with giving my life to a company who literally doesn't care about me at all.
