It's interesting that when you go to college/university you're encouraged to just leave and use the toilet whenever you like because “we are grown-ups”.
This job though… I feel like I'm back at school. Even in retail I was able to get someone to take over (they would be cool with it) while I go to the toilet.
When I'm away for too long I get messages like this: “Where are you, just noticed you were offline for 10 mins after your break”. I didn't change my status off break to “unscheduled break” to go.
I needed to take a s*** damnit. When I gotta go I gotta go. I just so happened to not need to go during break. I'm sure customers would understand that their agent needs to do their business.
Things are going my way though and hopefully I'll be out of here soon.
