I'm fed up with the system and I want to do something about it. This is a plan that I came up with.
- Choose a company known for unethical practices, say Tesla for example
- Send out a mass email to all the employees at that company whose email I can find (planning on using LinkedIn)
- In the email, inform them of the pay disparity and exploitation they're experiencing, remind them they're not alone and that they don't deserve this. Tell them to organize.
- Hopefully at the very least it will spark some discussion among employees in the break room or something.
I realize there's a few flaws to this plan. For example, I'm not sure whether I'd be able to reach industrial workers & part time workers since they likely won't have a company email address.
Would this have any repercussion on me? I don't even work for these companies, and email spamming isn't a crime. So I'm leaning towards… no?
Comment below what you think, how I can improve, and if you'd like to help. If there's enough support I might start a Discord channel to organize this so we can divide and conquer.
