Called out of work and they tried to pry for questions and I know I’ll have to deal with them when I’m in tomorrow what should I say?

So I called out just now and simply explained to them that a emergency had came up and due to it I wouldn’t be able to be in today. Instead of them just acknowledging it and keeping it at that they wanted to ask me what was the reason and I just let them know it was a personal matter and we ended the Convo. I know that tomorrow when I’m at work my boss will def try to pry me about questions what’s the best responses to keep it short and have them off my back?
