I gave my employer a little over a 4 week notice — yes I'm an idiot, I know. I'm the only admin in my department full of teachers/faculty and so I wanted to make sure I give the next hire enough time to settle in before the start of the school year, at which point they'll be slammed.
I can tell my boss is super unhappy. Anyway, I try to ignore her. Today, she sent an email to the whole department notifying them that I will be starting a mini project and that everyone should give me information for me to compile. This is also how I found out about this mini project — through the blast email. I'm fuming because I feel like she, and a few others, are trying to give me as many tasks as possible before I leave, and also didn't have the decency to tell me beforehand.
So, going back to the title….I have more than 8 days worth of sick time off in my bank, am I allowed to use it?
