I offered overtime and/or working extra to make up for time off, but my manager didn't want to put that on me. I'm taking bereavement for my granddad passing, so I appreciate that from my manager. Dealing with his passing is compounded by his daughter, my mom, having passed 15 years ago but my dad's family didn't like her and got upset when I mourned. So I'm now finally able to mourn her now.
Are we really supposed to go through grief in 3 business days? I already had to miss a day due to having a slight breakdown seeing my granddad in hospice. I have another day off for the funeral. And another for… To fit my grief for my granddad, and deal with unresolved grief for my mother.
I'm so tired.
