Can I talk to my supervisor’s boss if

I have chronic pain and I don't know its cause and I'm in the midst of trying to figure that out for over a year now. I have to see a lot of different doctors, and they all make me do all these in person appointments during the middle of a work day. I was scared to ask my supervisor about getting an appointment for a dentist check up because on top of all the appointments I had to go to, now I have to see if my wisdom teeth need to be pulled out. ANd sure enough, she gave me a lecture about it. I've been good with getting the right amount of hours (I'm in an internship), and I've been honest about my struggles with having all these appointments, which aren't cheap! Is she fair to say that I should stop making appointments and find another time to…

Is she fair to say that I should stop making appointments and find another time to do them? Even though I needed to get my teeth looked out in case of infection?
