I have been working from home since I started working a sales job two years ago. A new manager has come along, and our relationship hasn’t been great. She just told me that on October 1st (my anniversary date) all employees in California must return to work in the office- except for the ones who have moved out of state.
I’m almost certain that I’m the only one currently working from home in California. The drive to the office is two hours, and it’s not worth the drive.
Can she legally do this? Do I have any options?
