I’m a waiter at a restaurant in northern Virginia and the GM just keeps making more demands as we get busier and busier with barely enough staff.
I can’t keep up with it anymore. Him and corporate just keep telling us to sell new stuff when people come in and already know what they want.
I’ve worked in junk removal, security, retail and food service but this is the one I hate the least because the money’s better. But it’s still exhausting and degrading.
Where do I go to get past this? I’m a dropout and I’m not sure I wanna pay off college debt the rest of my life. What can I do for myself at this point?
