Can they write my husband up for a seizure?

My husband works at a fast food restaurant. he has epilepsy which they all know about. unfortunately this morning he knew he was having symptoms showing that he would have a seizure soon (shaking, throwing up, migraine). he called out of work 14 minutes before his shift. i understand, super annoying but he didn’t have a choice or he definitely would’ve had a seizure at work. well anyways the manager texts him later that this will be a write up and he isn’t allowed to work tomorrow because she can’t risk him calling out. i understand getting his shift covered tomorrow but the write up irritated me because this is a medical condition and he can’t control when it happens. and to add, this does not happen often. we usually get lucky and he has seizures on his off days from work. he has not called out for a seizure…
