Can We Ever Really “End Work”?

Hello Antiwork. Let me start by saying you are god's people, and this is my family now. I'm curious about the mission statement of this subreddit. What do you guys mean by “end work”? What does a world without work look like to you? Obviously it takes some amount of work to make this world go round, but how much can we really eliminate? I have some ideas but I want to see what the community has to say first. What major changes would our current society have to see in order for everyone to be paid just for being alive? How would this affect supply chains and large businesses that rely on general labor? Are we looking to eliminate these jobs entirely or do you just want to be paid more to do them? Thanks guys, much love!
